In this participatory and transdisciplinary project, the participants represent local experts – experts for their own life in the region, who set out on the path and are ready not only to set their own goals, but also to determine the yardstick (the indicators) for this themselves.
In order to achieve this, we worked out a programme in the 4th workshop on 24 June 2023, how people in the region, i.e. you (!?), want to start together in this direction.
We will take 2 steps to achieve this
First step: since our 3rd workshop, the project team has scientifically evaluated the proposed indicators, refined them, systematised them according to the three dimensions of sustainability (ecological, economic and social) and thus made them operationalisable for measuring the achievement of goals. At the 4th workshop we will go through this again together, agree on it and, if necessary, change and/or add to it.
Second step: Important for the last step of our process will now be to think of concrete projects with which you want to (and can) come closer to these goals. In order to simplify matters, we have distilled 6 topics in a small preparatory group for which we can think of concrete projects that “pay off” on these goals:
- Agriculture
- Education
- Energy
- Forest
- Nature conservation
- Tourism.
These should also be discussed again and, if necessary, changed. Nevertheless, it would be nice if some people could already bring ideas for concrete projects that we can not only discuss but also decide on on 24 June.
